Idan is a Partner at October Three. In this role, Idan leads the Prime (Personalized Retirement Income for Me) initiative - a new approach to improving retirement outcomes for individuals and employers.

Prior to joining October Three, Idan spent 15 years at one of Canada’s largest actuarial, pension and retirement savings firms, leading both defined benefit and defined contribution businesses across the country. In these roles, Idan provided strategic and business leadership to national pension consulting and administration practices while championing innovation in the retirement space, including the creation of new models that maximize flexibility, efficiency and retirement income security.

Idan is a frequent speaker and writer on the topics of retirement income and financial wellness. He grew up in South Africa and commenced his actuarial studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. He immigrated to Canada in 1994 and completed his studies at the University of Toronto. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
