Meet The Team

Milan Patel joined October Three as part of an acquisition. He joined O3 because of the unique opportunity to learn under an unparalleled team of expert actuaries and the consultative nature of the entire team, not only with clients but also with each other.

Milan has a combined 15 years of experience administering retirement plans. He started in the retirement industry as a plan analyst. Eventually, he started his own TPA firm, MPI, which serviced 25 traditional defined benefits and 403(b) defined contribution plans for 14 non-profits in the Chicago area. He left the industry to pursue a passion to open a wine shop in Chicago, only to return to his true calling as an actuarial analyst.

Milan is pursuing the designation of Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA). He graduated from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a BS in Production and Operations Management.

Milan, who lives in Fort Mill, SC, is a professional and a dedicated father of two daughters. When he's not working, he cherishes spending time with friends and family and coaching his daughters'
